Kish is a village located a short 15 minutes from Sheki City and is home to one of the most well restored ancient churches in the entire Caucus region.  As chronicled by the famed Norwegian anthropologist Thor Heyerdahl, it is thought that this church was built by the early ancestors of present day Scandinavians. You can even take a look at the remains of half a dozen skeletons, well excavated and preserved. Outside the church grounds, windy cobblestone roads and steep inclines make for both an interesting and challenging walk under the back drop of green mountain peaks.
